I like watching movies I don’t enjoy because it makes me feel like I could do that

makes me proud that 100 people looked at it and said yes that’s good

maybe I’m good

maybe the 7 cigarettes I smoked today made me better

maybe the mould growing in my room has found some comfort in my lungs too

my breath could inhabit yours as well

we could all breathe a sigh of relief together as we look at one another’s shitty art and say I sign off on this

maybe we could kill the sequel and the remake and the prequel

by slowly driving the plank deeper into our own eye

pulling it out, and passing it down
