Double Happiness

is an existence solely focused on love good enough?

I don’t seem to know how to do much else

looking to the ether as I was trained to do

I find no further motivation

but looking to you I see laughter and light and joy and love and future

but that’s not your burden to give me

I got the double happiness pack today, the cashier most unenthusiastic to serve me

maybe together his misery and mine could make one existence
